From time to time we receive requests for the “loan” of tables, chairs, crockery and the like. Whilst it is not common practice, special requests will be considered.
It is the Stewardship Board’s responsibility to take due care of all of the Congregation’s assets and we therefore need to ensure that the items loaned are properly managed and that there is a formal process for approving, despatching and receiving the returned items.
In cases where such requests are received, these are to be directed to the Property manager (Steve Goedhals) who will then give the necessary consideration and on his approval will “sign” the items “in” and “out”.
There will be times when he is not available then such requests should be directed to Barry Taylor and as a last resort to Geoff Jooste. |
